Abstract

The article is a critical commentary on John Bellamy Foster’s text published in the most recent issue of Revista da SEP. I point out the virtues, insufficiencies and mystifications of the text. The reflections Foster presents allow us to address sensitive issues that go beyond the author’s thinking and interest Marxist ecological thinking in general.
